Content Claim Standard (CCS)

Content Claim Standard (CCS) is a standard used for the verification of all product content claims until the final product based on chain of custody principles and constitutes the foundation of all other Textile Exchange standards. Within this verification are the control of documentation,  volume reconciliation and material segregation from the first raw material to the final product. USB Certification is an accredited Certification Body for CCS. CCS allows secondary scope certification of all organizations besides facilities that process the raw materials at the entry point of Textile Exchange supply chain. Within CCS, the following are the standards that we are authorized to provide secondary scope certification for:

• Responsible Down Standard (RDS)
• Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)
• Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS)
• Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS)
