Textile Certification

Public awareness about certified organic products and demand to these products has increased gradually due to the disruption of ecological balance together with increasing environment and health problems. Moreover, natural resources began to be consumed rapidly with the increase of production and consumption parallel to world population and this situation caused increasing awareness and demand for recycled products. Due to these reasons, the certification of textile products which are manufactured from organic and recycled products continues to gain importance.

Textile products which are certified according to the standards mentioned below ensure to have a production responsive to the environment and nature.

The organic fibers specified in these standards must be audited and certified by independent and accredited bodies in accordance with existing organic farming regulations (IFOAM Family of Standards for the relevant scope of production (crop or animal production), such as Regulation (EC) 834/2007, USDA National Organic Program (NOP), APEDA’s National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP), China Organic Standard GB/T19630).
