The BRCGS Consumer Products Standard consists of two main standards for the consumer market, the Personal Care & Household Products Standard and the General Commercial Products Standard.
BRCGS Gluten-Free (GFCP) is a preventive, science-based certification program to manage the safe production of gluten-free products.
The plant-based PLANT-BASED certification program is based on a comprehensive management system approach and assists producers in the production of plant-based food.
It is an initial food safety standard for businesses that are not yet ready to implement the full BRCGS Food Standard.
The audit period varies depending on the size of the company, the number of employees and the process.
At the contract signing stage, all conditions for the audit service are determined and the audit process begins.
The audit is completed and concluded with its planning and realization. (Audits can be announced or unannounced.)
Preparation of the audit report and submission to BRCGS in case of a positive audit report (Audit frequency is 6 months or 12 months depending on the audit result)

The plant-based PLANT-BASED certification program is based on a comprehensive management system approach and assists producers in the production of plant-based food. It includes operational and cross-contamination criteria that must be in place to ensure that plant-based products do not contain substances of animal origin. BRCGS-Food can be integrated into the audit.
It is an initial food safety standard for businesses that are not yet ready to implement the full BRCGS Food Standard. It is a good start for understanding and implementing the basics of food safety. BRCGS Start!consists of 8 main sections. The scope is based on food producers and food raw material producers.

The standard sections are divided into two columns. The first column shows the basic level requirements and the second column shows the intermediate level requirements.
It is compatible with the GFSI Global Markets Program and provides a competitive advantage in the commercial market as certified companies will be visible in the BRCGS Directory.

The BRCGS Consumer Products Standard is for non-food processed products for the consumer market. It consists of two main standards, the Personal Care & Household Products Standard and the General Commercial Products Standard. The Personal Care & Household Products Standard covers formulated products (cosmetics, medical devices, baby diapers, food packaging, household cleaners, etc.) that require compliance with higher hygiene rules for the nature and intended use of the products.
The General Commercial Products Standard covers a wide range of mostly fabricated products (electrical equipment, toys, furniture, textiles and jewelry, etc.) where process management is at the forefront to ensure product safety and quality.
