USB Certification and EKOAGROS Have Agreed to Cooperate

On the 22nd of May, 2024 USB Certification and Public lnstitution (PI) EKOAGROS have agreed to cooperate in providing certification services in accordance with the National Organic Program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA NOP) (USDA NOP Final Rule 7 CFR Part 205) for organic crops, livestock, wild crops and handling in the territory of the Republic of Türkiye.

PI EKOAGROS is a non-profit public organization that is authorized by the Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture to carry out the certification of organically produced products according to the EU organic standard in Lithuania. Founded in Kaunas, Lithuania on 14 March 1997 Ekoagros was the first organic product certification body in the Baltic States. It’s areas of competence include certification and control of organic agriculture and food production, organic livestock and processing. Since 2017 Ekoagros is accredited to certify according to the USDA NOP standard.
