2025-2026 Season Hazelnut Production Forecast Announced

The International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC) announced its hazelnut production forecast for the 2025-2026 season at the 42nd World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress held in Spain.  

According to the information provided, Turkey’s walnut production for the 2025-2026 season is projected to be around 609,000 tons. This figure indicates a significant decrease compared to the previous year, and the decline in walnut production has sparked varying reactions among producers in the sector. These production estimates, which are regularly announced each year, are closely monitored by walnut producers and relevant stakeholders and are generally met with various concerns and expectations.
