IAF and ILAC merge under GlobalAC, ushering in a new era for global accreditation. Strengthen international confidence. Discover more!
The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) have merged under the umbrella of the Global Accreditation Cooperation (GlobalAC) with the aim of strengthening the global accreditation system and making it more comprehensive.
With this merger, the legal entities of IAF and ILAC will cease to exist as of 1 January 2026; all activities, memberships and partnerships will continue under GlobalAC.
At the meeting held in Thailand, TÜRKAK, IOAS, DaKKs and all other accreditation bodies officially completed their GlobalAC membership.
