On 23 September 2025, an important online event was held for the textiles and consumer products sector. The webinar, titled ‘What Do Brands Want? The BRCGS Consumer Products Standard in Textiles and Consumer Products,’ featured USB Certification Audit Manager Aşkın Acay and BRCGS CP Auditor and Trainer Demet Aşaner Berberler as speakers and attracted considerable interest.

The event covered the scope of the BRCGS Consumer Products Standard, brands’ expectations from suppliers, audit processes, and quality management practices. Participants were also provided with detailed information on how the standard aligns with sectoral requirements and contributes to sustainable production processes.

Throughout the webinar, questions from participants were answered, and the strategies brands follow in terms of quality, safety, and compliance were shared with examples.

As USB Certification, we will continue to organise such training and information events in the coming period to raise sectoral awareness and guide companies on international standards.
