Kızılay’s Products Recalled in Switzerland Due to Boron Limit
Ensure product compliance for international markets. USB Certification offers expert support for regulatory compliance in your export processes.
Recallswiss, Switzerland’s official recall platform, announced that Kızılay branded natural mineral water and apple-flavoured fizzy drinks have been recalled in the country on the grounds that they exceed the boron limits set out in Swiss legislation.
In informing the public of these developments, Kızılay emphasised that the situation did not stem from any product safety or quality issues. The statement highlighted that the process was due to the different regulations and boron limits applied by Switzerland for natural mineral waters and stressed that the products in question were manufactured in full compliance with Turkish legislation and applicable international standards.
At USB Certification, we are once again observing the critical role that monitoring international regulations and ensuring market-specific regulatory compliance play in the export process within the agricultural and food supply chain. To ensure that differences in standards across various countries are managed correctly and that certification assurance is provided, we continue to guide all our stakeholders and add value to their processes through our team of expert auditors.
