The “Essentials of Certification for GOTS and Textile Exchange” Webinar Will Be Held on 17 September

As USB Certification, we are holding our webinar titled “Essentials of Certification for GOTS and Textile Exchange” online on Thursday, 17 September 2026, between 14.00 and 15.00 (GMT+3). The webinar will be presented by our Technical and Quality Specialist Derviş Ozan Aydın.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and the Textile Exchange programmes, including the MMS, GRS, RCS, OCS and RAF standards, are among the most widely recognised certification systems for sustainability and traceability in the textile industry. Each programme, however, comes with its own scope, supply chain requirements and certification processes. The webinar is designed for textile professionals who are new to these systems or looking to build a stronger understanding of the certification journey, offering an overview from foundational concepts through to practical implementation.

The programme will cover an overview of GOTS and Textile Exchange, how Chain of Custody certification works, Scope Certificate and Transaction Certificate processes, and pre-application preparation. The content is intended for textile manufacturers, dye houses and garment producers, brands and retailers planning to obtain certification, supply chain and compliance teams, and primary processors operating in recycling.
