As USB Certification, in collaboration with the Denizli Chamber of Industry, we successfully conducted the “Advanced Level Certification and Transaction Certificate (TC) Training on Organic Certification Standards (GOTS and OCS)” on September 17, 2024. The training was held in the M. Feridun Alpat Conference Hall and started with an opening speech by Orçun Alptekin, Board Member and Head of the Training Commission at DSO.

During the training, Gülseher Bakırcı, Turkey TC Operations Manager, explained the fundamental differences between GOTS and OCS standards, key points to consider in application processes, and the important steps in the Transaction Certificate (TC) process. Erce Ercegil, USB Certification Turkey Country Manager, provided information about the most common non-conformities encountered in the field and the significant changes brought by GOTS V7. Ali Ertuğrul, Technical and Quality Manager, shared updates on Textile Exchange programs and other developments in the industry.
