USB Certification brought together industry representatives at the “Current Approaches in Food and Agriculture Standards Seminar” held on Tuesday, 13 January, hosted by the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event, which attracted significant interest from industry stakeholders, comprehensively addressed global food safety standards, updates to international organic farming regulations, and sustainable farming practices. The seminar provided a platform filled with strategic information to enhance the competitiveness of local food and agricultural producers in the international market.
During the event, Derya Büyükyıldırım, Food and Agriculture Certification Manager at USB Certification, and Sevgi Kansoy, Agriculture Programmes Manager & CB Trainer, informed participants with their technical presentations.
The presentations detailed topics such as:
- Key points in the implementation of BRCGS and IFS standard requirements,
- Recent changes in international organic farming regulations,
- The future of sustainable agriculture and the importance of certification processes, and answered participants’ questions.
