USB Certification is organizing an in-depth webinar on the Materials Matter Standard (MMS), a topic of key importance for recyclers and value chain actors. This free webinar will be delivered by Ali Ertuğrul, Technical and Quality Manager at USB Certification, and will provide a detailed overview of the impact of MMS on recyclers and the broader value chain.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at 12:00 (GMT+3), and is designed especially for recycled material producers and stakeholders using these materials. Published by Textile Exchange, MMS will apply to animal fiber producers and recyclers operating at Tier 4 of the supply chain and will gradually replace the GRS, RCS, RAF (RAS, RWS, RMS), and RDS standards over a defined transition period.

During the webinar, the scope of MMS, the claims it includes, its relationship with other Textile Exchange standards, transition timelines and requirements, as well as the obligations for both recyclers and value chain actors using recycled materials will be discussed. Practical insights and implementation-oriented tips will also be shared to support the effective management of the transition process.
