As USB Certification, we held a webinar on 6 October 2025 entitled ‘Labelling Rules According to Legal Requirements and the IFS Food Standard’ with the aim of helping companies operating in the food sector to implement a compliant, reliable and transparent labelling process. During the event, our Food and Agriculture Certification Manager, Derya BÜYÜKYILDIRIM, and IFS International Featured Standards Turkey Representative & Senior Quality Manager, Ezgi DEDEBAŞ UĞUR, provided participants with comprehensive information on legal requirements, the IFS Food Standard’s labelling criteria, and recent regulatory changes.
Throughout the webinar, topics such as mandatory information on food labels, providing accurate information to consumers, allergen declaration, nutritional values, and country of origin declaration were discussed in detail. In addition, the points considered in IFS Food Standard labelling audits and common mistakes encountered in practice were explained with examples. Participants had the opportunity to interact with our experts and ask questions, gaining awareness of the importance of accurate labelling for food safety and brand credibility.
