USB Certification participated in the GOTS Council meetings held in Nuremberg on February 12, 2026, bringing together key stakeholders from across the organic textile sector. USB Certification Commercial Director Miraç Wolska and Technical and Quality Manager Ali Ertuğrul represented the organization at the meetings.

Discussions focused on sector developments, collaboration opportunities, and the future of organic and responsible supply chains. With GOTS Version 8.0 released in March 2026, the new standard requirements, updates to certification processes, and the sector’s compliance timeline were among the prominent topics on the agenda. The event provided a valuable platform for sector representatives to exchange insights, align on the direction of the sector, and contribute to the continued credibility and growth of organic textiles worldwide.
