Regenevate Programme Enters a New Phase Under RegenEcos

USB Certification officially announced on March 24, 2026, that it has transferred all rights to the Regenevate certification programme, free of charge, to the newly established Regenerative Ecosystems Association (RegenEcos). The transfer reflects the shared belief that credible and independent regenerative standards should be governed by civil society, free from commercial interests.

RegenEcos is a new-generation civil society organisation founded in Izmir to promote regenerative and circular economy principles across sectors including agriculture, food, textiles, energy, and waste management. Built on the values of transparency, inclusivity, scientific integrity, and equal access to knowledge, RegenEcos has assumed the role of independent governing body for the Regenevate programme. No changes apply to existing certified entities and certificate holders; all certifications and processes remain valid.

Regenevate has been designed from its inception as a digitally native certification system structured to provide data directly to EU Digital Product Passport frameworks. The transfer signals the programme’s continued development as an independent, digital-first regenerative certification ecosystem capable of growing on a global scale. Regenevate’s evolution into an independent, globally scaling ecosystem reflects USB Certification’s long-term vision for sustainable supply chains and regenerative agriculture.
