USB Certification Participated in Better Cotton Initiative Field Visit in Türkiye

Erce Ercegil, the Country Manager of USB Certification Türkiye, and Ali Ertuğrul, the Technical and Quality Manager, attended the first day of the Better Cotton Initiative Field Visit event held on October 7, 2024. This event, which addressed sustainable cotton production and agricultural innovations, brought together experts in the sector, offering opportunities for knowledge sharing and field observations.

On the first day, participants had the chance to observe regenerative farming practices during a cotton field tour. They also shared their experiences during lunch. In the afternoon, a tour was organized to a ginning facility, one of the critical stages of cotton production. The day concluded with a networking dinner aimed at strengthening collaboration among participants.

By participating in the first day of the event, the USB Certification Türkiye team had the opportunity to closely follow developments in sustainable cotton production and quality management. This participation was an important step in adapting to industry dynamics and observing current practices on site.
