The Future of Regenevate Standard was Shaped

Within the scope of the workshop, the requirements and applicability of the Regenevate Standard developed by USB Certification were discussed in detail. Participants provided feedback on the requirements of the standard and offered suggestions for improving existing practices and making them more efficient. The main issues evaluated within the scope of the standard were as follows:

  • Maintaining and improving soil health
  • Optimizing plant nutrition strategies
  • Sustainable water management and efficient irrigation techniques
  • Agricultural practices that support ecological balance
  • Strengthening farmer awareness and training programs

In the light of all these issues, important decisions were taken at the workshop for a more effective implementation of the Regenevate Standard. Academic and sectoral recommendations were evaluated to make the standard requirements more accessible and applicable.

A Common Vision for Sustainable Agriculture

The Regenevate Workshop was an opportunity not only to improve current standards, but also to provide a comprehensive roadmap on how to shape sustainable agricultural practices for the future. Participants discussed the steps to be taken to increase the effectiveness of sustainable agriculture and to enable farmers to adapt to these processes more easily, and developed strategies to ensure environmental and economic sustainability.

As USB Certification, we will continue to support environmentally sound, economically viable and socially acceptable methods of agricultural production. The Regenevate Standard will continue to raise the bar in sustainable agriculture, meeting the expectations of sector stakeholders and increasing environmental sensitivity.
